I began making this Orange Patchouli soap for my Oshun Spirit Earth Friendly Goods storefront in 2005. (I have more varieties of aromatherapy/gemstone essence soaps available there.) This is a classic blend of sunny, sweet orange and earthy patchouli made extra special with the light floral and earthy addition of Lotus. It is pure happiness!
This soap is very moisturizing and conditioning, excellent for all skin types and gentle enough for babies. It makes a great shaving soap and you can even wash your hair with it. In fact, you can even wash your dogs with it... I do!
Nothing makes a stinky dog lovable again like this scent! And they love it too, it is very calming and soothing... a great choice for dogs (and kids) that prefer not to bathe.
You will receive one bar. Each handcut bar measures approx 2.75 x 3 x 1 inch thick and weighs about 5 oz. You can easily cut one into two bars with a large kitchen knife... one for the two-leggeds and one for the four-leggeds!
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Sweet Orange, Patchouli and Lotus Essential Oils.
Patchouli essential oil: This relaxing scent helps relieve headaches and depression. In skincare, patchouli is wonderful for problem skin because it speeds healing, balances, rejuvenates and tones skin.
Orange essential oil: A sweet scent that reduces anxiety and depression and has antiseptic properties. It improves circulation, and can be used in skincare to detoxify and rejuvenate dull skin. It makes hair and coats super shiny!
Lotus essential oil: The scent of lotus essential oil is used to encourage the body to breathe more deeply. The combination of deep breaths and the effects of relaxation from the scent increase feelings of tranquility.
